About Ivan Xu

lvan Xu is a human-powered adventurer. His goal is to finish circumnavigating the earth by his human power. He went on more than a dozen expeditions, including traversing the frozen Lake Baikal in Siberia, paddling the Mississippi River from source to sea by canoe, walking across Transcaucasia, cross skating across South Korea, and 2 years of cycling around the world, a journey of 14,000km through 18 countries and 4 continents.

While not on expeditions, Ivan put his energy into training and competing in Ultimate Frisbee tournaments, and he has won a dozen tournaments domestically and internationally.

Currently, Ivan lives in Shanghai. He also coaches the Shanghai Eagles Youth Flying Disc Club and the Shanghai Solar Ultimate Frisbee Club.
